About Angel View

Angel View Crippled Children's Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has been helping physically and mentally challenged young people in the Coachella Valley since the early 1950's.

Angel View is governed by an Executive Board of Directors. Many of our board members have served Angel View for more than 15 years, some as long as 30 years. Their dedication and commitment to providing quality health-care for Angel View clients is commendable and inspiring to all who choose to serve others. Board members provide leadership to the organization, assist in making financial and administrative decisions, and participate in fund raising, special events, tributes and dedications.

How is Angel View Funded?

Angel View's funding requirements are met by government agencies, fundraisers and private donations from people who care about the future of the physically and mentally challenged.

Medi-Cal is the state of California's program that reimburses for specialized medical services for uninsured, aged, and disabled Californians. Medi-Cal reimburses Angel View for the most basic medical services provided to our residents. However, Medi-Cal reimbursement falls far short of what's needed to provide the quality of life Angel View envisions for our residents. That is why the generosity of our benefactors, grantors and patrons of thrift stores is so crucial to the overall care we provide.

Your generosity allows us to provide enhanced services including hydrotherapy, increased nursing services for more medically fragile residents, special outings (Disneyland, movies, etc...) and much more. This additional funding allows our residents to achieve the utmost in independence and thrive in their everyday lives.

Our quality and hope-filled care depends upon private donations and Angel View is proud to report that approximately 95% of every dollar goes directly to support our young people with special needs.
